2014 Stand UP World Series & SUP World Tour Events veröffentlicht

Die Termine für die Stand Up World Series und Stand Up World Tour 2014, den grössten SUP Wettkampfserien des Planeten stehen fest! In 2013 erreichte SUP ein neues Level, welches mit den beiden globalen SUP Eventserien in 2014 gefestigt werden wird. Erstmals wird es neben den beiden Pro SUP Eventsereien die SUP World Challenger Series geben, um ambitionierten, semiprofessionellen Stand Up Paddlern eine Basis zu geben, auf regionalen Veranstaltungen erfolgreich um Punkte und Preisgeld zu fighten. Die aus den Events der SUP World Challenger Series hervorgehenden Punkte werden in ein eigenes System, aber ebenso ins World Ranking einfliessen. Das genaue Rulebook 2014 für Satnd Up World Series, Stand Up World Tour und World Challenger Series wird Anfang 2014 veröffentlicht. Fest steht aber schon jetzt das es auch in 2014 wieder einen SUP Wold Cup in der World series in Hamburg geben wird.

Stand Up World Series Events 2014

1. Brazil Pro Grand Slam: 4th – 6th April (Grand Slam will run from the 29th March with the Surfing World Tour first, while the Racing will take place on the final weekend)
2. Abu Dhabi All Stars Grand Slam: 15th – 19th April (Grand Slam will run from the 11th – 19th April with the Surfing World Tour first and Racing taking place over a 4 day window at the end of the waiting period)
3. Stop 3 (final location tbc by 1st week of Jan): 16th – 18th May (World Series Race for both Men and Women)
4. Hamburg World Cup, Germany: 27th – 29th June (World Series Race for both Men and Women)
5. Chicago World Paddle Challenge: 8th – 10th August (World Series Race for both Men and Women)
6. Huntington Beach Pro Grand Slam: 19th – 21st September (Grand Slam will run from the 15th, and the World Series Race for both Men and Women will run on the Final weekend)
7. World Series Finals at Turtle Bay, Oahu: 2nd – 5th October (World Series Race for both Men and Women)

Stand Up World Tour Events 2014

1. Sunset Beach, Oahu: 8th – 16th February (combined with the Turtle Bay Pro for the women, running concurrently with the Men)
2. Brazil Pro Grand Slam: 29th March – 6th April (featuring World Surfing Tour & World Series Racing for both Men and Women)
3. Abu Dhabi All Stars Grand Slam: 11th – 19th April (featuring World Surfing Tour & World Racing Series for both Men and Women)
4. Tahiti Pro: 26th May – 2nd June (World Surfing Tour for Men)
5. Huntington Beach Pro Grand Slam: 15th – 21st September (featuring World Surfing Tour & World Racing Series for both Men and Women)
6. La Torche Pro France: 25th October – 2nd November (World Surfing Tour for both Men & Women)
